Lions are ordinary people who do extraordinary things to help others and support good causes. We love to help others and make things happen. Warminster Lions Club supports a range of good causes and projects, and have fun organising remarkable and memorable fundraising activities. As local residents ourselves, we serve the unique needs of the community in which we live.
Over 1.4 million men and women are members of Lions Club International. We are friends, family and global neighbours. As a network of volunteers we share a common passion; we get involved in our local communities.

The Warminster Lions Club was formed in 1964 by a group of local people who wanted to make a difference to the community. The money they raised from the local area was used to support many good causes and help people who had fallen on hard times. More than five decades later, the Club is doing exactly the same.
The Lions logo is universally recognised and worn with pride by Lions members. The International Association of Lions Clubs has developed into 46,000 Clubs in over 200 countries. The name 'Lions' is an acronym of Liberty In Our Nation's Safety'. The world is a very different place from that where Lions Club International first served in 1917. Yet the desire of Lions members to serve others and help meet the needs of society are much the same. |
The Lions Club of Warminster is fortunate to have the support of members of the public who attend events and donate money to our fundraising efforts. At the heart of the organisation are Lions members - the men and women of Warminster and the surrounding area who make things happen. They give their time and talents.
We welcome new members. They bring with them fresh ideas and share our commitment to help others less fortunate than themselves. If you would like to get involved with Lions as a supporter or member visit the Contact Us page.
